Dear all,

you can now take an active part in the voting process for our contest.Voting
for you is open for 7 days from now. You can only place one vote and a
rating per submitted image.Ratings are from 1 - 5, 1= lowest, 5=highest
rate. You may give your vote and rating to all of the contest entries or
only to the ones you like the most. That is totally up to you. Keep in mind
when placeing your vote and rating, how good the artist has matched and
interpreted the given theme and how good the quality and the expression of
the work is in your opinion. Please be fair and honest.
Thank you for being an active judge, I hope you will enjoy rating the images
that you think are the best !

Hi my friends,

after a longer quiet period I am happy to come back with some news for you all :

1. It is a great honor for me to welcome Callad as the newest addition in my friends galleries ! Please take some time to go there and view his wonderful images and if you like to give your comments and ratings, I am sure it will be very welcome.

2. I am changing the access rules and restrictions in my galleries within the next days. In all galleries visitors and guests are now welcome to view the images without restrictions, but to leave comments and/or ratings one still needs to be registered to the gallery. It is also absolutely in need to register in case you like to take part in the voting for our contest entries.

3. I have also uploaded a lot of new images to my galleries and will be uploading my newest ones within the coming days ! Worth a peek !

4. I am happy to announce a new contest to start soon. I will give out the theme and the prize anouncements during the coming next week. Hope many of you will enjoy taking part in it and we will see a lot of your entries. So check back often, there`s a lot going on here soon !

Hello my friends,

first of all I like to wish you a happy New Year 2007 ! I like to take this opportunity to thank you all once again for your help and support by building up this gallery, website and community !

There are lots of new images in the Gallery if you haven`t checked lately, it`s worth to go there and have a look. Kpage has uploaded a very nice image titled : Isn`t she lovely.

There are also some new entries in the contest section of the gallery. The contest is still open for entries until January 27 th. So why not give it a chance and submit one or two of your “dreamy” images ?

Hallo meine Freunde,

zuallererst möchte ich Euch ein Glückliches Neues Jahr 2007 wünschen und Euch allen für die Hilfe und Unterstützung beim Aufbau dieser Gallerie, der Website und Gemeinschaft danken.
Es gibt einige neue Bilder in der Gallerie zu bestaunen, falls Ihr schon länger nicht mehr vorbeigeschaut habt, solltet Ihr das unbedingt einmal wieder tun. Kpage hat ein sehr nettes Bild in der Friendsgallery ausgestellt mit dem Titel : Isn`t she lovely.
Es gibt ausserdem einige neue Eingänge zu unserem Contest. Dieser ist noch offen für Eure Teilnahme bis zum 27.01.07, wie wäre es wenn Ihr mit einem oder zwei Eurer “traumhaften” Renders noch daran teilnehmen würdet ?

That`s it ! Another year gone by ! I wish you all a very good start into the New Year and may all the wishes you have for yourself or your beloved ones become true !!

It´s been a little over a year and 60 images later now from when I started rendering images and so I like to take the opportunity to :

* Thank everyone of you, who has viewed my images !
** Thank everyone, who has liked and enjoyed my images that much to let me know about it by given your statements and comments !

I like to thank Stonemason for his outrageous works especially, but also all the other artists and vendors, who made all this possible with their wonderful items, works and inspirations !

Some thoughts about the new V4

I personally think….that this is a typical marketing hoax. It was indeed a rushed publication with V4, just in time before christmas. Now everyone of us fellow artists around the world jumps at it like crazy, because it is new and had a lot of clever strategic ads and promotion ( bigger, faster, better..),and because we are hungry for new artistic components. But in fact, as a stand alone it is useless…nice to play around with, got some good features, but useless…unless all the addons are marketed (which will be again designed by our fellow artists mainly !)to make it useable in a way that it adds some spice to our artworks ! Means we have to wait until there are tons of goods for V4 as we already have tons of goods for V3 that are unfortunately of no use for V4
Hype…DAZ…Dollars….

I found myself thinking about wether I should download it now or not ( Oh wow, exited, the new V !!)… but than again I faced, that it will only make sense together with the most expensive pro pack bundle that it comes with…hmmm…and than I will still have to use the converter to V3 to get the most out of V4 with the items I have ?!?!?!? …

My second thought was, to leave it and stick with V3…because it is only a character to be used in an image, it shouldn`t be “the image”. The art of the image is not how good the character is but how good it is being used.
So, even though the web will be flooded with V4`s in the future, that alone doesn`t make an image great, no matter how great the character may be. It doesn`t replace creativity, composition and atmosphere of an image! And with this all in mind, V3 serves me well… very well !
